Harry Styles’ "Fine Line" is an excellent album!

As "Watermelon Sugar" tops Billboard’s Pop Songs radio airplay chart this week, (Aug 08, 2020), I figured it was finally time to have a listen to Harry Styles’ sophomore album, "Fine Line".

Bear with me, I know I’m 8 months late to this. To be honest, I haven’t heard his first album because I wasn’t a fan of the lead single. However, Watermelon Sugar has been catching my ear on radio and I’ve heard consistent praise for the album even from casual music listeners.

“Golden” is an excellent opener. I can honestly say I was not expecting to instantly love a track. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that I really enjoyed most of the album. It kept me locked in start to finish, no clicking out.

“Cherry” and “Falling” are both absolutely stunning records. To have them next to each other was pure genius.

I must say, I’ve never really paid much attention to Harry’s vocals (no, not even in 1D) but they really shine on this album. I like this sound, I like the songs, I’m probably still not going to check out his debut album but I also won’t wait 8 months to check out his next.

My favourite tracks

Cherry

Falling

To Be So Lonely

She

Fine Line

You can hear them on my #August2020 playlist right here!

As always, hit me up on Twitter with music recs and your thoughts :) I've got a Taylor Swift post coming soon because she is just the entire music industry and the music industry is her. Love her.

Love and light,

Steph
