Andrew Bazzi. If you know, you know.
He cemented himself as one of my favourite male artists and as someone I’m always excited to hear new music from way back in 2018 with his debut album “Cosmic”. The 2019 mixtape “Soul Searching”, was equally brilliant.
I’ve always found Bazzi to have a very distinct sound, very unique hooks and melodies. His latest song “Crazy” (released Aug. 20th) seems to be exploring something new. The beginning reminded me a little of Jon Bellion. The chorus features Bazzi’s smooth falsetto over an infectious bassline and synths.
